EQ/ How did The Egyptian Civilization develop?
Egyptian Civilization was one of the longest and oldest civilizations. It began around 5000 and 3200 BCE Egypt is located in North Africa and it was seperated into two parts, the upper Egypt and the lower Egypt. Upper Egypt was in the south and lower Egypt was in the north. Egypt was know as the black land. The black land is next to the Nile River and that's where settlement began. Farming began and the Bardari culture began too. On the other side of the Nile river was the desert (Sahara desert). The Egyptians called the desert the red land because of its extreme heat. Egyptians take the nile river as an advantage for trade and transportation.Egyptian society was divided into social groups and they lived in the pyramids. Here is the egyptian society from top to bottom: pharoah,vizers,high priests & nobels, officals & scribes, craftsmen, slaves & laboure & peasents.
