The first Is raelites settled in Canaan and they worshiped only one God. The israelites first came around 100 BCE. For them to survive they went to Egypt, but became enslaved by the pharaoh. In order to get their freedom, they spread lamb's blood on their doorway. So that convinced tht pharaoh to let them leave. In the bible it said that God told Moses to lead the Isrealites to freedom. During the trip to the promise land Moses recieved the 10 commandments from God....So Moses helped lead the Canaanites to the promise land, unfortunally it took about 40 years, therefore Moses didn't that long so he wasn't alive when they arrive to "the promise land"
3 opinions of mine, that the Israelites should've done on their way to the Promise Land
One of my opinions on what the Israelites should've done to get to the promise land is to took horses with carrigaes. If they took horses then they could've get there faster and safer. If the horses had carrages with them, then it could hold an amount of Israelites. The carriges would keep the Iraelites dry and not tired but active. Then who ever is driving the horses they can take turns on who rides the horses and who rests. So basically they switch back and forth on doin those two things.
Another of my opinion on what the Israelites should've done to get to the promise land is took tons of food and water for them to eat and drink. Since they went through the Sinai Desert there was barley any water so they should've packed tons of water, depending on the amount of Israelites and how much they drink. I think some people died , because of starvation or whatever the case was.
On their way to the promise land they should've took short breaks. so they wouldn't get tired or without any energy. If they took short breaks then thye would save more energy to get to the promise land.
